Hi! Love reading your blog, really inspiring me to book up and do almost exactly the same trip. I wonder if you can tell me, is it easy to get accross from Joburg to Tofo? I am a bit worried about the border crossing and the ‘infrastructure’ of mozambique!
Absolutely love the blog!

Glad you enjoy reading! Thank you! Yes, it’s pretty easy to get from Joburg to Tofo. You can take Intercape to Maputo, which will take you through the border crossing. Sometimes the line is a bit long but that’s the worst of it. Then spend a day or two in Maputo, stay at one of the hostels, and organize from them the bus up to Tofo. They pick people up directly from the hostels. It’s great there, would move there if I could.
